Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, It is not easily-angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, Always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
A beautiful poem from the Bible, but how many of us can actually live up to its expectations? I know I'm struggling... Why is it so easy to hate others and love yourself? Why doesn't putting others before self come naturally? Because we're human?
Or is that just an excuse?
If I've done anything wrong, I apologise. To anyone. Or even to everyone. Perhaps all of need to start opening up our lives to each other. To understand each other. To care for each other... To love each other. Not just those in your clique. Not just those you feel like loving. You don't have to change overnight. Start small. It'll get you somewhere...
